Administration

I am Shane Paulus and I will be the new Principal here at Rex Elementary.  I am entering my 22nd year in education as both a teacher and Administrator.  I graduated from Wichita State University with my teaching degree in 2002 and then graduated from Baker University in 2007 with my Master's Degree in School Leadership.  Over the course of these years, I have taught 5th and 6th Grade in Wichita, Goddard and Maize Public Schools.  Over the past 7 years, I have been an Assistant Principal in both Wichita and Maize Public Schools.  I am married and we have 2 boys and 1 girl.  My oldest will be a sophomore at Pitt State and then I will have a Senior and Freshman at Maize South High School.  We also have 3 dogs who keep us busy.  In my free time, I love spending time with my family, camping and boating.  I am very excited to be your child's Principal this year!  Please do not hesitate to reach out if you have any questions or concerns.  You can reach me at 316-554-2281 or you can email me at [email protected].
